A Valentine’s Day Affair at Zuma Grill

Last night was another great time. We went out in Tempe to the Valentine’s Day Party I was talking about in my previous post at Zuma Grill. They were giving out gift bags with a bunch of Hustler stuff in them. T Shirts, breath mints, and you guessed it, condom necklaces.

It was a fun time and the place was packed. I did not have any red dress shirts so I managed to put a sweet outfit together with a tie and all. The Fuck’em Bucky T shirt was the frosting on the cake. There was no cover charge when we went and tHe drink specials were very reasonable, $2 Miller Lites and $4 Vodka Redbulls. I had a few(?) of both and unfortunately I am feeling it as I type this post. I woke up this morning and was not looking forward to going to work. Thank God Its Friday…

This weekend should be pretty fun. We signed up for a volleyball tournament on Sunday that is happening at our apartment complex. It’s always fun to hang out with other residents and get to know your neighbors. Our apartment complex, The Trillium Papago, is also putting on a free breakfast Saturday morning in the great room. It will be tough to make it there since it’s in the early AM, 10:00 to be exact. But who doesn’t like free pancakes? Were planning on golfing Sunday so we can get some practice in before the TV show starts filming this Tuesday. I am very excited for the show and hope we can win the thing.

I also need to start figuring out my plans for the next few weeks. Were heading to Hollywood for a few days sometime in the next few weeks and were also trying to squeeze in a trip to Honolulu in April. The Kokua Festival is there April 19 and 20th and Jack Johnson will be performing along with Dave Matthews. It would be fun to go back there and see some of my friends that are still living out there.

I am not sure what the plans are for tonight but I have a feeling we will be going out somewhere, either Tempe or Scottsdale. There is a lot of stuff going on this weekend so it won’t be to hard to find something. Stay tuned as I will absolutely, positively, be making a post tomorrow.

But first things first, I need a nap…Let the countdown to 5 begin.

PS. Keep the comments coming, it is nice to see everyone commenting on some of my posts!
