Blogging For A Living

When I first created this site, I had the intention of someday blogging for a living. What better way to make money than by working for yourself, writing, and sharing your knowledge with the world?

This site has come a long ways since it started and the last few months have been a huge turn for the better. I have completely redone the site and made the site much more usable. I am very close to getting rid of my day job and blogging as a source of income along with acting.

So, how do you make money by blogging? Here are few examples that I have incorporated into my blogs.

Google Adsense:

Google adsense basically allows you to put text and image ads on your blog. Google then pays you a certain amount every time a user clicks on an ad on your site. The real key to making a lot of money through Adsense is by generating lots of traffic and page impressions.

Affiliate Products:

Selling affiliates is another great way to make income from your blog. All you need to do is promote other peoples products and then you get paid a percentage of each sale. Clickbank.com is one example of a place to find products to promote. There are tons of products in an array of topics to choose from.

Amazon Affiliate Program:

Amazon has an affiliate program that allows you to make a commission on sales you generate from your blog. You can do things like product reviews and then insert a link to the product with your affiliate ID in it. If a reader purchases the product, you make money.

There are many other ways to create income from your blog besides what I have listed here. I just feel these are the easiest to start with because it does not take much to incorporate all of them.
