My New Transportation

A few weeks ago, I finally managed to sell my Chevy Cobalt. Since then, I have been looking for a new way of getting around. Originally, I wrote a post about my new ride being a set of rollerblades. However, it’s not that easy getting around town on rollerblades.

A New Bike

So instead, I decided to buy a new bicycle. Check it out:

I’ve been looking at bikes for about a month now before I finally pulled the trigger and bought one yesterday.

My Two Week Notice…

The Time Has Finally Come

Well everyone, I have finally dropped the bomb and have given my two week notice. This has been long overdue, dating back to when I first started sometime in December. If you are new to my blog, my post Office Jobs: The Tipping Point from way back in April sums up my feelings on office jobs in the best way.

It has been a long ride, with a lot of ups and downs. A lot of my best posts were written as a result of my job. I even came up with a movie idea, Escape From the Cube Farm. I am surprised I stuck with it this long, but in a way I am glad I did. It made me realize that I can stick to anything as long as I try and stay positive (although it was REALLY hard as some points).

Where Do I Go From Here?

So the real question is what am I going to do now? My answer is give full-time blogging a go. I have tried hard in the past, but I have never hopped into it and given 100% of my time to actually making something happen. I now have the motivation to do it and make the best of it.

Justin is Back!

I am back from the dead, sort of…

I have been sick these past couple days so I haven’t been able to think enough to actually put together a post worth reading.

Anyways, here is the scoop on what is going on. I am still working my job…yes the one I bash often. I haven’t quit yet since I would prefer to find something else to do in its place. I would also prefer to sell my car before I go the unemployed route.

Anyone feel like buying a 2005…

Living A Happy Life

After disappearing for a few days, I am finally back. I have been really busy the last couple days entertaining friends, drinking, cleaning, and just sorting out my future plans.

Anyways, I have decided I need to change the attitude of this blog. I realized most of my posts are nothing but me complaining about my job. Don’t get me wrong, I dislike my job a lot. But I am never going to get anywhere by complaining about it constantly.

I may sound like a pissed off person, but I…

1 Year Since Graduation – What have I done since?

I was looking at the calendar today, and realized that is has now been one year since I graduated from college back in Wisconsin. It feels like it has been a lot longer than a year for some reason. Anyways, I decided to come up with some key things I have done since then to sort of give myself an idea of what I have done and where I hope to keep moving towards.

So here are some of the major things I have done over the last year:

10 Questions to Ask Yourself Now!

Today I stumbled across a post at FrugalMarketing.com, that talked about 10 questions to ask yourself. I thought these were some very important questions that I needed to answer for my own. So here are my answers to some very important questions:

1.) If you could do anything you want to tomorrow, what would it be?

I would go somewhere quiet and take some time to myself to just clear my mind. It is hard to keep your head straight when there is so many things going on…

My Goal to Live, Not Exist

I have been doing a lot of thinking to myself lately, and needed to get it all out. Luckily my friend felt the same way so we spent last night and the early AM this morning sitting on our lanai (porch) drinking a 24 ounce Miller High Life pondering life.

The talk came down to what is really important to us. I have learned a lot since I left college and a lot of things I used to think were important no longer are. I found an article last…

A Few Questions About Living Situations

Over the last year, I have been moving around a lot trying to see new places and decide where I want to live. Well the 6 month mark is coming up soon for Phoenix and it looks like once again I may head somewhere new this summer.

So today, I just wanted to ask you, my readers, a few questions and see what your responses are. I just want to see what other people think of their living situations. I have posted my answers below each question as well. So…

Possibly Moving to Sydney, Australia?

Once again, last night I managed to meet some more interesting people. This time it was a group of guys that were visiting from London.

After talking with them for awhile, I told them about how I was thinking about leaving Phoenix at the end of June when my lease is up. If you have never lived here, it is okay but the desert is just not the place for me. There is a serious lack of water here and I really miss the water sports I used to love…

What Is Happiness?

Everyday I observe the people and places around me and it is easy to say, life is one heck of a ride. There is so many ways to approach life that it almost seems impossible to stick with a plan or direction. One could pursue a healthy diet and lifestyle and feel great. Or you could eat and partake in the things you enjoy and bring happiness, even though they may be unhealthy. One could work a job they hate to buy material things they believe will find them happiness.…
