The P.F. Chang Rock n’ Roll Marathon

The P.F. Chang marathon was a huge event here in Phoenix today. There was more than 30,000 participants and it just so happen to take place in my front yard. It was crazy to see so many people running at once. My roommate completed the half-marathon which was 13 miles.

There was more than 70 live bands spread out over the course of the marathon and lots of people were watching from the sidewalks. The main concert starts later tonight down by Tempe Town Lake.…

Another weekend comes to an end

Well this weekend was full of events.

We went golfing on Saturday…shot a 94 which was not real great but was better than expected. The golf course was pretty much flag sticks stuck into the dessert. There were a few patches of green grass but not much. I suppose thats what you can expect when you get 18 holes and a cart for less than 25 bucks. It was still nice to get back out on the course since it has been about 2 years.

New Years 2008 at the Fiesta Bowl Block Party

Well, it is officially 2008! And New Years Eve was a great kickoff to the new year. I went to the Fiesta Bowl Block Party in Tempe and celebrated with 100,000 people. The Barenaked Ladies performed by Tempe Town Lake and it was a great show. There was a ton of people everywhere and it was exciting. There was also a great fireworks display at midnight but I kind of missed it ;) .

Heading Home for Christmas

I booked a flight last night to Wisconsin. I decided I wanted to spend a few days with family, especially since I have not seen them since May. I am excited to get home and see snow, HA HA yeah right.

I am only going home through Tuesday since I have to be back to work on Wednesday. I will try and post some pictures with the family and let everyone know how awesome it was to return home.…

Welcome to Phoenix

I am now in Phoenix and it is a pretty cool city. It is HUGE. Not just the amount of people, but how far it spans out. There is like 10 cities stuck together. In the picture I am on top of South Mountain and Phoenix is behind me.
