Turtle Beach on Siesta Key
A few days ago, we decided to drive down to Siesta Key to check out some of the beaches there. I’ve heard a lot of good things about them and I must say they are pretty amazing. The water was a tad cold, but the weather was in the 70′s so I managed to go take a quick swim before quickly running back to shore.
How to Move Across the Country

Well it’s no secret that I’m a big fan of moving around the country. Since graduating college, I’ve moved around the country a few times as you can see in the map above.
I’ve learned quite a few things about moving over the last few years and wanted to share my advice with anyone planning (or thinking about) a big move. Keep in mind that I did not using a moving company at all so these are all tips based on moving yourself (it’s more fun this way).
I Moved to Florida

For those of you who missed my farewell to Austin post, I decided to move across the country yet again. A few people made guesses as to where I went and one person managed to get the state right on. It’s the Sunshine State!
Farewell To Austin
About 6 months ago, I wrote a post about making it to Austin. I talked about making the move from Arizona and did a quick farewell to the great times I had there. Well guess what?
It’s time to move on yet again. My girlfriend and I are moving across the country tomorrow so I thought I would share my thoughts and adventures I had here in Austin.
Pedernales Falls State Park
This past weekend, I went and checked out Pedernales Falls State Park. It’s located about an hour outside of Austin here in Texas. It’s made up of more than 5,000 acres of land and has a bunch hiking trails and camping areas.
Although the waterfalls weren’t what I was expecting, they were still cool to look at. It was also nice to get outside and do some hiking, especially in November. The leaves are starting to change colors so the scenery is pretty amazing.
