Farewell To Austin
About 6 months ago, I wrote a post about making it to Austin. I talked about making the move from Arizona and did a quick farewell to the great times I had there. Well guess what?
It’s time to move on yet again. My girlfriend and I are moving across the country tomorrow so I thought I would share my thoughts and adventures I had here in Austin. Continue reading
Pedernales Falls State Park
This past weekend, I went and checked out Pedernales Falls State Park. It’s located about an hour outside of Austin here in Texas. It’s made up of more than 5,000 acres of land and has a bunch hiking trails and camping areas.

Texas Capitol Tour
A few days ago, my girlfriend and I decided to take a walk to the Texas capitol building here in Austin. We’ve walked by it a few times but have never gone up close to it or inside to see what it looks like. So we decided to go in and check it out.
Outside The Capitol
The Capitol is an awesome looking building that really makes the Austin skyline. It reminds me a lot of Washington DC as well as Madison, Wisconsin. The top of the building looks the same, regardless of what side you are looking at.
Here’s a few pictures of the outside of the building: Continue reading
