Did I Just Watch That Crap?
Last night was The Hills Season Premiere on MTV and of course, I watched it.
Why? I have no idea. Probably because I’ve seen a thousand commercials for it this week and see the characters on every magazine at the grocery store.
Anyways, I can sum up last nights premiere in one simple word…crap.
Seriously, what was the point of it? The plot was terrible. It started with Spencer going up to Colorado to try and win his girlfriend back. I’m still trying to figure out what they actually do for “jobs.” Seems like their days consist of nothing but going out to eat and having a few drinks. It must be nice to not have to spend 50 hours a week in a cubicle pretending to care about your job. What made me happy was finding a post titled Everyone Hates Spencer on another blog.
Watching Spencer and Heidi going out to eat every night really does make some terrible television. I would rather watch Heidi Montag’s music video for “Higher” on repeat. At least I could get a good laugh out of it. If you haven’t seen the Best Week Ever’s version, check it out:

If that wasn’t entertaining enough, the rest of the show consisted of Lauren and her coworker going to Paris for some work events. Basically it was the story of 2 American bimbo’s going to Paris. The highlight of the show was when Lauren discovers that she burned the hell of out her dress with a curling iron. Who would think press a blazing hot curling iron against a dress would cause it to turn brown?
Luckily, a prince comes to the rescue and finds her a new dress just in time for her to make it to her ball. Man, I sure wish my problems were this pathetic. I thought I was watching The Hills, not A Cinderella Story.
Lauren then ends up going on a date with a pretty bad ass looking dude. They zoom in on him smoking cigarettes on his motorcycle, only to find out it’s a scooter. Is this seriously on television right now?
He takes her around the city and shows her what Paris has to offer. This really is some of the worst television I have ever seen. This is nothing like reality, unless I am living in the wrong one.
So basically, the entire episode of The Hills was about 2 girls going to Paris and a guy trying to get his girlfriend back. What a waste of time. I really do not understand why everyone thinks this show is so great. I’d rather watch Tila Tequila try and find a boyfriend/girlfriend for the 7th time.
PS. Please feel free to comment, I would love to hear other people’s views of this show.

Well, unfortunately, I watched that sh*t too. LOL. It’s just a soap-opera-ish “reality” show (which is not so real) and something to talk sh*t about. In the beginning of watching that last season, I always wonder if that’s that easy to live at Hollywood (after my trip to LA last weekend, hell no). I watch it; I’m probably gonna watch it again…(it’s the last season) But I’ll never take it seriously for sure.
Yeah I was out in LA/Hollywood last weekend too. And there is no way it is that easy to live out there unless you have tons of money.
Looks like I just need to become famous somehow, lol.
Wow, that video is something, I would venture to say I will probably never watch it again.
I never understood the hills. No wonder the really hot chick, I believe her name is Lauren, left the show.
