Aspiring To Be An Actor

I have always dreamed of being an actor in movies and television shows. Living the Hollywood dream we so often hear and read about in the news, or in celebrity magazines.

Therefore, I have decided I am seeking out on a journey to become an actor, or at least an extra. Of course, many people will say its not worth trying, but I feel different. I prefer to live the mindset that I can do anything so long as I try hard enough and want it badly enough. I have never failed to do anything I have ever wanted to prior to this, so why would this be any different?

No, it will not be easy. And it may take a long time, but that is okay by me. The real question, is where to begin? The good news is that in a few days I will be shooting for a reality TV show here in Scottsdale. I am really hoping this is going to be my foot in the door and hope to make something of this. I am very excited and am looking for to filming for the show.

I am hoping to stand out on the show and get some attention so I am still working on how I am going to go about that. I guess I can figure something out over the next few days.

I am not planning on moving out to Hollywood until the end of June since I have a lease through then. SO my goal is to go to some casting calls here in Phoenix until then. The only hard thing is actually getting to the casting calls since I work the normal 9-5 job and it does not leave much time.

I guess it is time to sit back and enjoy the ride, it could get interesting very quickly…
