Last night I went and checked out a sport I didn’t even know existed. What was it? Good ol’ lawn mower racing. A bunch of guys have pimped out their lawn mowers to go a lot faster than normal. It was actually pretty interesting to watch.

As you can see, these things were flying. They don’t cut grass anymore that’s for sure.
In The Pits
I was curious to see what these lawn mowers look like so I went back in the pits to snap a few pictures. Here’s what one of them looked like up close:
I was actually surprised to see they look pretty close to stock, except for the exhaust of course.

Lawnmower racing is a lot of fun and compared to other motor sports doest cost huge amounts to take part
That looks like a lot of fun. I wish my mowers were that much fun.
this looks awesome! We might need to take the old lawn mower thats used for the high grass and brush clearing and do some work on this. Do you know of anywhere in New Jersey that lawn mower races are held?
