One Night in Vegas
Well…Where to Begin? It is 12:00 PM and I just woke up. My head is pounding and I just want to go back to be bed.
Anyways, last night was incredible:)
I officially love Las Vegas and will definitely be returning sooner than later. The strip is amazing and I cannot believe how crazy it is here. People never sleep and the bars and casinos never close. It is one nonstop party and I love it.
We cruised the strip for about an hour last night because I wanted to see some of the buildings. I was impressed with all of the hotels and some of them are straight-up amazing. The lights are overwhelming and it is so much cooler in person than it is on TV. We ended up getting a hotel room at Bill’s Gambling hall since it is close to everything and it right on Las Vegas BLVD. Plus it was pretty cheap at $120 a night.
Now, on to last nights events. The night started out with a few cocktails in the room to get things going. Once 10 o’ clock rolled around, we decided it was time to head downstairs to the casino. I am not a big fan of gambling so I was more of a bystander watching everyone else. Ryan wanted to play craps so Kevin and I decided to watch him play since we weren’t sure how. At one point he was up $120 but eventually that dwindled down to about 20 bucks which still isn’t that bad. I love the fact that they serve cocktails for free in the casino. I ended up kicking back a few more Jack and waters than I probably should have but hey, it’s Vegas!
We ended up staying at the casino until around midnight before we decided it was time to head to the club. We wanted to go to the PURE nightclub since it is one of the nicest ones and is found inside Caesar’s Palace. What was really nice is the fact that our hotel was across the street from it. So once we got to club Pure, we saw the line and it was not looking good. I immediately went up to the bouncer and asked him how long the wait was going to be.
How long? Somewhere around 2 hours and 30 minutes which was not going to happen. So at this point we decided to investigate and see how much it would cost to go VIP and get in immediately. We talked with one of the bouncers and he said we could get a nice table with bottle service for $475. So now we are thinking, should we do it, or should we go somewhere else?
Let’s do it was the answer. So the next think I know we were walking passed everyone in line and we were immedietly allowed into the bar and a waitress walked us up onto the terrace and sat us at this cool looking couch. It was awesome, sitting on a white leather couch overlooking the strip from the rooftop.
The bottle service included a liter of Absolut Vodka and any mixers that we wanted to go with it. I must say it is nice having a bottle on ice with a few glasses of lime wedges, an ice cube bucket, and a friendly waitress that mixed our drinks for us. Going VIP is definitely the way to party.
So we spent the whole night just hanging out on the roof meeting new people. The group next to us was an interesting group of guys from London. They were there celebrating a bachelor party for a few days. We also met 3 cool women from California that were there for one of their birthdays. We invited them to come sit with us at our table and we had a great time talking with them (see below)

At this point, things start to get blurry… We left the club somewhere around 4 AM and ended up at Burger King (according to Kevin). Ryan ended up playing craps somewhere even though he does not remember. At that brings me to now, 12 PM and just getting up.
All I can say is, it was one crazy night and I had a lot of fun. Cheers to Vegas!
