Top of South Mountain (w/ Photos)
I took my camera and tripod along because I am looking to get back in to photography. I have been slacking with it lately but hope to hop back into it. There are so many cools things to see around Arizona, I just need to get out and get some nice shots. Here are a few of my favorite shots from the top of South Mountain:

Road Trip to Tucson and Tombstone
Well everyone, I hope you had a good weekend. I ended up heading south to Tuscon this weekend to do some more exploring.
Tucson, Arizona
We did not spend much time in Tucson, but instead drove through it. I was surprised at the size of the downtown district as it felt like it was almost as big as Phoenix.
The city looks a lot like Phoenix, but still has a few small differences such as Mt. Lemmon. It is much higher in elevation than any of the mountains in the …
Weekend Plans: Where To Go?
Well once again, another Friday has come upon us. Talk about a fast week!
Spending a week in Wisconsin and then booking a last second flight to Hawaii really makes time fly. But I must say it has been a very enjoyable month so far. I am finally starting to travel as much as I want and I hope I can continue at this pace.
I have started a travel fund and hope to travel a lot more in the near future. I even have a world map up in …
Dispersed Camping in Flagstaff
This past weekend, I decided to take a camping trip up North in Flagstaff.
The drive up to Flagstaff was rather interesting, considering the person I went with got a speeding ticket going 92 mph. Apparently anything over 85 in the state of Arizona is considered a criminal defense and results in a stay at the local jail.
Luckily…she didn’t get hauled away and the cop was nice enough to knock it down to a civil ticket which just resulted in a fine.
After that whole thing, the tricky part …
The Edge of the Grand Canyon
This weekend was once again another eventful one full of sightseeing and exploring. I took a road trip up north to see Sedona, Flagstaff, and the Grand canyon for the first time.
Malibu Beach Bash
Well let’s see, I paddled a boat, deflated a few beach balls, and ate a ton of food. That is the recap of last night’s Winter Beach Bash sponsored by Malibu in Scottsdale. It was a crazy party for a couple reasons. First off, there was no cover charge which vary rarely happens here in Phoenix, especially Scottsdale. And second, drinks were complimentary. Yeah that’s right, all you can drink and eat until midnight.
They had like 100 bottles of Malibu to use for the night and I probably drank 3 …
My Crazy Three Month Adventure
If you have not read my previous post titled The 3 Month Mark, it basically summed up the first 3 months I lived in Honolulu, Hawaii. At that point I had a good feel of what Hawaii was like and had done a lot of different things. Well today, February 22nd, marks exactly the 3rd month since I landed here in Phoenix, Arizona.
It has been a long and crazy adventure over the last three months that is hard to even summarize. I thought it would be easier to …
More Partying…And A Free Pancake Breakfast
Last night was yet again another night out on the town. We hit up Margarita Rocks for like the 10th Friday in a row. It’s always a good night when you walk in the door and order a fishbowl Long Island Iced Tea for your first drink.
Today my apartment complex put on a free pancake breakfast from 9 – 11 and I somehow crawled out of bed to go get some free food. I made it there around 10:45 just in time to eat and take home all the …
La Femme Night at the 6 Lounge
Hump Day has come and gone and it is already Thursday. Time seems to be flying right by and it is probably because I have been so busy. Work is going great and I have been doing tons of things after work and on the weekends.
We decided to start going out more on the weekdays, I know it sounds bad, but not to get drunk…More to mingle and network with new people and just overall get to know more people. It sure beats sitting at home and watching TV.…
Feeling Sick…Time to Take a Day Off
Well, I woke up today and felt sick as can be. I have battling a cold all week and its always tough to get over them.
So yeah, I slept until about 2 pm and when I woke up I felt pretty good. So I decided to go golf 18 holes with Greg and practice a little bit for the show. We both shot really well so I am excited for the show. We found out yesterday that its going to be on National TV instead of local which is …
