New Theme – What Do You Think?
I moved over to a new Wordpress theme , called K2. I was looking for something that was easier to use and more importantly, easy to read. I think it is a lot easier to read now that the main content is on the left.
If you are new to the site, here is a snapshot of my old template:
The process was a pain in the ass…

The winners of my first ever give-away have officially been picked. We had a total of 10 comments, so I punched 1 – 10 into Random.org and these are the numbers I came up with:

30 Days on DVD…Plus A Free Give-Away!
There are not many shows these days that I actually like watching on TV. But one I do like watching is “30 Days“, which is hosted my Morgan Spurlock from the movie, “Supersize Me.”
What Is It About?
If you are not familiar with the show, here is a quick synopsis:
“The intelligent and innovative TV show that dares to ask: Do we really know what it’s like to see the world through our neighbors’ eyes?”
“30 Days features a diverse group of participants, each given the opportunity …
Centipedes, Audition Tapes, and Magazine Covers
Today I spent some time catching up on other bloggers posts since it has been awhile. It is always nice to see what other people are up to. One of the blogs I was visiting was TysBlog.com and he has had a lot of good posts lately. I encourage everyone to check out his Top Affiliate Challenge audition video (vote it a 10!).
Another thing thought caught my eye, was a website called MagMyPic.com, that creates magazine covers from your digital images. Check out this cover I created:

And …
My Most Popular Google Keywords
Today I decided to take a look at my most popular keywords in Google and talk about my niche a little bit. For the most part, this site really doesn’t have a specific niche. More or less it is a site about my life and anything I feel like talking about. So I though looking at my top 10 keywords would help me focus on what my readers enjoy about this site.
Your keywords say a lot about your readers and your posts because it helps to understand with posts …
Blogging Is Not Always Easy
First off, thanks again to Lady Rose from Entrecard Favorites for presenting me with a trophy this week. She has a great website that awards trophy’s to bloggers every week and I was lucky enough to receive one. If you would like to read her post about my site, you can visit it here.
Anyways, I must say that blogging is something that indeed takes time to conquer. It is not something you decide to start one day and instantly overnight you are well known across the internet. There …
Facebook Slapped Me On The Wrist
Facebook is mad at me, or so it seems. I think they want me to take a timeout…
It seems that Facebook likes to put limitations on certain things. Earlier this week, I was accepting a few friend requests and requested a few friends when I received the “strike 1″ red alert message. It basically said “Stop! You are making friends too quickly!.” And then it rambled on about how I would get disabled for a few days if I kept going.
I suppose this started happening since I created …
Building A Successful Blog
It has officially been a little over a month since I moved from Blogger to my own domain, LifeofJustin.com. A lot of changes have taken effect and my blog is finally starting to take off and get consistent traffic.
I noticed that a few days ago my Alexa ranking was 2.7 million and yesterday it went up to around 1 million. Not a bad jump in such a short time. My one week average on Alexa this past week was 163,000 so that is something to keep me motivated. My …
8 Low-Stress Careers

I was reading a few articles on Yahoo.com today when I stumbled across one titled “8 Careers to Help Lower Your Stress Meter. (Full Article Here)” As soon as I saw it, I had to look at it since all I have dreamed about is having a nice, low stress, and decent paying job that still offers me the freedom to do what I want.
So to my surprise, most of the jobs on the list weren’t even close to being a job I would enjoy having. Here …
Is Web 3.0 Just Around the Corner?
As I was surfing the internet this morning, I stumbled upon an article written by Tony Dokoupil over at Newsweek.com. The title of the article was “Revenge of the Experts” and it was looking at the trends that seem to be happening on the internet lately.
Tony starts by saying:”By any name, the current incarnation of the Internet is known for giving power to the people. Sites like YouTube and Wikipedia collect the creations of unpaid amateurs while kicking pros to the curb—or at least deflating their …
