Turtle Beach on Siesta Key

A few days ago, we decided to drive down to Siesta Key to check out some of the beaches there. I’ve heard a lot of good things about them and I must say they are pretty amazing. The water was a tad cold, but the weather was in the 70′s so I managed to go take a quick swim before quickly running back to shore.

One of the beaches we checked out is known as Turtle Beach. Turtle Beach is a small beach in terms of depth, but I seem to prefer that over the larger beaches. It makes it feel more secluded, especially since the beach was not that crowded.

One of the things I noticed was how many seashells are on Turtle Beach. It was literally full of them and they almost made it difficult to walk along the water. Other than that, I loved the beach. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy the sounds of the ocean.

More Beaches To Come

Once the weather warms up a bit, I’ll definitely be checking out more beaches that Florida has to offer. So stay tuned for more photos and videos in the upcoming months.

  1. What a beautiful beach, it’s amazing how each beach has its own personality.

Hey Justin, nice looking beach. What I love about the coast is the plethora of beaches you can visit. I try to stay away from the busy tourist beaches here in Costa Rica and go to the more secluded ones..

    • Yeah that’s what I’m hoping to do here in Florida. Once in a while I like going to the really crowded ones, but I much prefer hanging out on a secluded beach where all you can hear is the ocean.
