Last night, we got another monsoon here in Phoenix with some heavy rain and hail. It was the craziest lightning I have ever seen. It looked like continuous camera flashes going off all over the sky. Check out this quick video I shot while running around outside in the storm:
Running Around In A Monsoon
Pretty sweet huh? For awhile, it looked like a small river was running through my apartment complex’s parking lot. If I would of had a raft, I could of tried tubing down it but unfortunately I blew it up using it to sled in Flagstaff.
Well, I wish everyone a good Friday. We managed to make it through another work week and we have the long weekend to look forward to. I have some travel plans for this weekend so make sure and check back in a few days for some new photos and stories!

This video makes me think of the Florida summer rainstorms. I’ve been in Phoenix about 6x and had a drizzle of rain after the 4th of July late. It drizzled on the hot pavement and concrete and sizzled, and quickly evaporated from the ground.
I’m personally not a big fan of Phoenix,give me the Florida weather anyday. It actually cools down at night there unlike Phoenix.
Quick question? Is that a waterproof video camera?
